Hjo speurtocht / Hjo scavenger hunt

Dit uitwisselingsjaar is niet de eerste keer dat ik in Zweden ben. Ik ben er een keer eerder geweest in de zomer van 2009, nu iets meer dan acht jaar geleden. We zijn toen zelfs in Skövde geweest, dezelfde plaats als waar ik nu naar school ga. Helaas hebben we in Skövde geen foto's gemaakt, maar wel in een plaats die aardig in de buurt ligt, genaamd Hjo.
This exchange year is not the first time I've been to Sweden. I've been here once in the summer of 2009, a little more than eight years ago now. We even went to Skövde back then, the same town where I go to school now. Sadly we didn't take any photos in Skövde, but we did take a few in a town called Hjo.

Mijn plan was om een aantal foto's van de vakantie in Hjo na te maken, zodat ik een soort vergelijking kon maken tussen Hjo in 2009 en Hjo in 2017. Dus nam ik de bus naar Hjo via Skövde en ging op zoek. Het ging een stuk makkelijker dan ik verwacht had, want een van de foto's was gelijk vanaf het busstation al herkenbaar.
My plan was to recreate a few photos of the vacation in Hjo, so I could make a comparison between Hjo in 2009 and Hjo in 2017. So I took the bus to Hjo via Skövde and started looking around. It went a lot easier than I had expected, 'cause one of the photos was already recognizable from the busstation.

Vrijwel direct achter dit gebouw lag het busstation. Ik herkende het gebouw aan een andere foto, maar deze was makkelijker na te maken. Vanaf hier waren een heel aantal andere foto's ook gelijk te herkennen, want ze stonden allemaal netjes op een rijtje.
The busstation is pretty much directly behind this building. I recognized the building from another photo, but this one was easier to recreate. From here, a lot of other photos were immediately recognizable too, as all the buildings on the photos were directly next to eachother.

Deze stond een eind verder naar links. Ik weet niet zeker welke versie ik mooier vind, de 2017-versie ziet er wat netter uit, maar de planten in 2009 hadden ook wel iets gezelligs.
This one was a bit further to the left. I'm not sure which version I prefer, the 2017-version looks a bit neater, but the plants from 2009 have a nice cozy feel to them.

Dit was een van de laatste huizen langs dit pad. Precies de andere kant op lag de haven, waar ik de volgende foto na heb weten te maken.
This was one of the last houses along this path. The harbour was exactly the other way, and there I managed to recreate the following photo.

Ik had niet verwacht dat ik deze foto na had kunnen maken, maar dezelfde boot lag er nog steeds. Volgens mij zelfs bijna op dezelfde plek.
I hadn't expected that I would be able to recreate this photo, but the same boat was still there. I think it was almost even in the same spot.
De meeste overige foto's waren van de camping in Hjo, dus ik heb op Google Maps opgezocht waar ik heen moest en eenmaal aangekomen op de camping heb ik de laatste foto nagemaakt:
Most of the remaining photos were from the camping in Hjo, so I looked up where I had to go on Google Maps and once I got to the camping I recreated the last photo:

Even over een ander onderwerp: vandaag is de eerste sneeuw gevallen! Ik denk dat ik morgen maar eens handschoenen ga kopen zodat ik een sneeuwpop kan maken zonder dat mijn handen bevriezen.
Switching to a different subject for a second: the first snow fell today! I think I'll go buy gloves tomorrow so I can make a snowman without my hands freezing off.

Deze foto heb ik vandaag gemaakt, ondertussen (ongeveer 7PM) is het al stikkedonker buiten, en dat is het al sinds ongeveer vier uur 's middags. Om de eerste sneeuwval te vieren heb ik deze kaart gemaakt:
